Nieuws MEDEDELING !!

Omschrijving | For fans of the modern progressive rock band
Advent Horizon, the long-awaited wait is over.
Their latest work, “A Cell to Call Home”, marks a
significant milestone in their progressive rock
journey. Advent Horizon`s latest contribution to
the progressive rock genre is a testament to their
tireless spirit and talent. They consider it their
best work to date, and it`s not hard to see why.
The emotional depth, complex compositions and pure
soul in every track speak of a band that pours
their heart into their creations.
The band brings in several guest musicians to keep
things interesting, including Randy McStine
(Porcupine Tree), Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater),
Dave Meros (Spock`s Beard, Pattern-Seeking
Animals) and many others. These names alone should
make you curious to at least give this album a
listen, even if you`re not familiar with the band.
Is it your best work yet? Yes, undoubtedly. “A
Cell to Call Home” is not just an album. It is a
tale of passion, perseverance and dedication.
Eleven tracks for an hour of music, without
filler. This is a wonderful album that will
hopefully get the attention it deserves and
inspire you to make more records.
"A Cell To Call Home" presents lush synth
soundscapes, thoughtful piano interludes,
powerful guitar-driven instrumental passages,
thunderous drums and complex vocal
arrangements.
Lyrically, the album explores the interplay of
love, addiction and loss - told from the
first-person perspective of a protagonist battling
the difficulties of overcoming addiction.
Although not a true "concept album, this thematic
piece of music paints a story that is at
times vivid, at times surreal, urging the listener
to consider their own weaknesses before
criticizing those they love."
