MEDEDELING !!
Door de Brexit komen titels die uit de UK afkomstig zijn nog altijd
met vertraging binnen. Soms valt het mee en duurt het slechts 2-3
weken, maar het komt helaas ook voor dat we 4 weken of meer moeten
wachten. We doen ons best om alles zo goed en snel mogelijk te
regelen, maar het blijft lastig...

| Omschrijving | The international band based in Madrid, Aurora
Clara, publishes its third album DREAMS after two
albums of energetic jazz-rock, very well received
by critics and international fans. In DREAMS the
impressive unisons of flute and electric guitar
are present, one of their personal hallmarks and
is loaded with improvisations full of virtuosity
on the part of the flute, keyboards and electric
guitar apart from a magnificent drum solo in 5/4,
but the general atmosphere this time is more
organic with a lot of percussion and acoustic
guitars, both nylon and steel-string in every one
of the seven tunes. Guitarist Raul demonstrates
his dominion of both flamenco-style fingerpicking
and pick techniques. During the early 2022 he
spent two months in Brazil and the musical
influences are evident on several tracks. In São
Paulo he saw some incredible graffiti art, and the
local artist Boletabike is responsible for the
cover paintings. The album also includes a
remarkable homage to Shakti, the supergroup John
Mclaughlin put together 50 years ago.
